Master quylthulg, Pazuzu and a surprising LOS
Angband 76 It was during my FF-quest with 18 Master quylthulg. This one I detected in a small vault with a bodygard: Pazuzu, Lord of Air (the dark blue U, the Q is only seen by detection spell and later directly). From a nearby small fortress I made a void gate close to them. Wasn't able to prevent Pazuzu from summoning, but when I took out the last ones, I suddenly *saw* the quylthulg from a very strange (as I thought) line of sight. From here it was safe and easy to kill the q with bolts without being noticed (no summoning!). Still need to learn, why (or how) this kind of LOS works. Doesn't look like a direct line, where shooting would be possible but actually it was!
