| NPPAngband began by absorbing some of the best features of other variants into Vanilla, and has grown to be one of the most popular variants. The (nearly finished) latest version, 0.5.0, has taken a wealth of new terrain from UnAngband, and used it in interesting ways. Morinin is a Half-Troll Druid who has already dived to level 39 of the dungeon. He has chosen random artifacts, and is currently native to forest. Winner of the competition will be the least turns to kill Morgoth, or in the absence of any game winners the maximum experience/turn. NPPAngband can be downloaded from the svn page.
