I picked this up recently; I think it's the best non artifact weapon I have ever found:

a Scythe of Slicing (Holy Avenger) (8d4) (+18,+20) [+4] (+4)
It increases your wisdom by 4. It slays demons, undead, and all
evil creatures. It provides resistance to fear. It sustains your
constitution. It is blessed by the gods. It grants you the ability
to see invisible things.

I have a hard time imagining anything better than this! What is the best non artifact weapon everyone else has found?

I was lucky with my winner weapon (gave me 7 blows with a paladin):
a) an Executioner's Sword of Fury (4d5) (+23,+11) (+2)
It increases your strength by 2. It increases your attack speed by 2.
It provides resistance to fear. It aggravates creatures around you.
It cannot be harmed by acid or fire.

It would be this

Scythe of Fury (5d3) (+24,+26) (+2)
It increases your strength by 2. It increases your attack speed by 2.
It provides resistance to fear. It aggravates creatures around you.
It cannot be harmed by acid or fire.

My best character ever found it at level 127. aggravation couldn't matter less as The One already had aggravation =)
