Take heart, the scroll still has a use: you can throw it at a monster to wake it up! ...assuming you manage to hit it, that is.

You succeeded-a job well done. Could have done a little better by just going downstairs on the first turn.

I would have flipped that one too but I wasn't sure if it was broken or not :)

I don't know what it does currently, but back when it was working as designed, any monster with a heal or teleport spell was basically unkillable.
