Spells should get always the same letter. It's handy for keymaps when you have lost a book or your spell stat was reduced. I like the idea.

Slow is really useful. I used it with success against high level uniques, like the Tarrasque and others.

I really like druids, a good combination of melee and magic.

I agree with you about the spells. Used a lot rift, pukelman and bear forms.

I casted a few tines volcano, river of lightning and eagle form. The first two dont make too much damage.

I like the combat spells of the blackguard a lot....

I like the combat spells of the blackguard a lot. It was one of my strongest melee characters ever. I had the same feeling of boredom at first but later it was a fun experience.

Teleporting walls were useful sometimes. I think that adding a small set of interesting terrain features is nice, avoiding the introduction of complicated game mechanics as much as possible.
