none of the insects have poison resist or more then 5 hps, so it can be handy to have a wand of stinking cloud so you have basic crowd control. Warrior stealth is so bad that you are not guaranteed...

He needs something, otherwise when he teleports you near you just step back. In his quest he was never the problem, its the bunch of hard fast hitters in a small space that killed you.
