That's correct. Lightning strike can target any grid the player can see, but you need to pick an actual grid to hit. I'll see if I can make that a bit clearer.

Mana channel makes casting a spell only take half as long (technically half as much energy). If you hit '?' on the spell screen you'll get a description of the spell you're currently looking at.
