does Stealth affect awake mobs?
Does your stealth stat affect anything else besides the rate / distance etc at which mobs wake ? Specifically, does it have any effect on the distance at which mobs can track you?

you need to look at stealth as affected by game...
you need to look at stealth as affected by game time.
So, for example; shields of Elvenkind will have +1 or +2; but by the time you find them, you're more likely to be looking at plugging a rChaos...
