I constantly have Wraithform, Poly Demon-Lord,...

I constantly have Wraithform, Poly Demon-Lord, and Ultimate Resist active. Transcendence too if my SP is >1000. Never was really a fan of Globe of Invulnerability.

My resistances are god awful....

[Frog] Any tips for fighting the Resurrection Machine?

Last time I fought it I got dispelled and died in one turn after getting it down to about half HP. I'm playing as a Sorcerer so I have damn near every spell at my disposal.

I haven't saved in awhile and something invoked Raw Lorgus, destroyed a loooot of items, and the game stopped responding. It's stuck using 25% of my CPU and nothing's happening. The game has crashed...

I got the Iron Helm 'Terror Mask' which has random teleport and ever since I got it it has always asked me if I wanted to teleport before teleporting me. Just recently it stopped asking before...

Playing over 100 hours of Moria, I can agree with this. It's just the same thing over and over. Don't get me wrong it was still fun, but vaults in Angband were the right way to go.

Not sure if it's been reported already but Balrogs can only satisfy hunger through human corpses, but getting gruel and a beer from the inn satisfies your hunger as a Balrog.

I learned this the hard way. My level 25 Balrog Chaos-Warrior got ambushed by 2 hydras and a cyclops and died. I got way too cocky, especially only having played for 2 days so far.

I've played a lot of Moria and the glove casting penalty and heavy armor SP penalty are Angband additions. I don't believe priest has a edged weapon penalty in Moria but I only played priest once.

The EXP penalty was actually somewhat annoying to me at the beginning with high-elf. It wasn't bad, but I was used to leveling up faster. After getting to around DL40 with under 200hp was really bad...

I took your advice but chose half-elf mage which has the same hit points as high-elf but not the xp penalty. I'm happy to say I won my first game! :D

Is troll priest much better than dwarf paladin? They can't cast spells quite as well but the dwarf paladin gets a higher hit die and better stats.
