did another one, after a few annoying deaths.
I've actually walked around for quite a while without FA, and got paralized a few times; can't say i was relying on my massive WIS, but i could rely on a healthy chunk of HP to keep me alive while i tried to pass a saving throw.
I found a artifact Dragon Armor (don't i always) but no The One Ring and all the rings of power i found were rubbish. I decided to play it as a straight warrior, which is easy with 600 damage. However, didnt do well with resistances or sustains until CL47, where i re-did my whole build.
i guess i should have probably carried ?phase for the last fight, but instead relied on Blink at 5% fail - maybe not so smart.
Note that i dropped a few books not needed. I could have dropped the rods of mapping as well, but, they do come in handy once Morgoth destroys the level - otherwise, a single !Enlight is enough.
