Listing items on floor with ] crashes the game.

Thanks for the report - the game doesn't like your inscription on the Band of Avardgan for some reason I haven't worked out yet. Was it just {COLD,Speed.A:map}, or was there another character at the end?

When using a staff of detect invisible I get "you sense the presence of invisible creatures", but nothing is showing up in my monster window or when I press [

Edit: Ended up dying to this. It was a trapper

I'm playing in ascii. Apparently if you play with tiles they show up. I guess I could of pressed l then scrolled through every dungeon feature.

(Windows only) Angband assumes the task bar is always on the bottom. Since I prefer a task bar on the left, the main window ALWAYS opens under the task bar (even after I move it in a previous session.)

* On the bottom cuts into valuable vertical real estate, and on the right makes it too easy to close a window by accident

Trappers being visible if you play with tiles sounds like a bug to me.

So what purpose do they serve other than have FA or die, if they don't show up till they attack even with SI? _detect invisible is available in staff form. _detect evil for most other deadly enemies. Carrion crawlers show up in the light & were pretty easy to kill even without FA. Just don't get what the point is other than to be really scummy for the sake of being scummy.
