Why is "the News" so outdated
The News on the main page is pretty outdated. We recently had another NPP release and a DJA release and neither are on the front page. Sil never made it there either. Why is this news so outdated and how can we fix it?

First, let me direct your attention to this thread; the interested among you may note that it is forum thread number 2 (thread 1 is worth a read, too).
Second, I have a URL which I can submit news to (but obviously haven't lately...) - maybe that could be shared more widely? I'll ask Pav.

Honestly, even an active news item author would be big help. There is a link for that, as suggested by Nick.

Writing the news, yeah I could probably do that. But I am also pretty devoted to 3.4 at the moment, so you can't really expect any more from me than that.
