shockbolt no offense to u ur art is great but i tried v4 on 1366x768 with ur tiles, and u can see less than half of wat u can with ascii default size , soz 4 that info.
tiles arent my concern tho they are good, but the game is being hurt by descisions such as all that derako listed imo

Derakon was joking, yes.
Welcome to Oook! You join us at an interesting time - takkaria stepped down as maintainer a short while ago (but is still a member of the devteam, which now operates by consensus, without a leader). We're working on an RC for 3.4.0 ... and the most revolutionary variant in many years (Sil) was released a few months ago. You are still, I think, the fastest winner of V ever recorded. I look forward to your views on 3.4 (which you can try in its pre-release form here).

While I love Shockbolts tiles, I prefer to play in ASCII mode. In options, changing graphics to none and reducing tile multiplier to 1x1 reverts to ASCII, but (at least on my windows) it also leaves ugly black horizontal lines crossing the display (spaghetti ?).
How do I get the display that I had in previous versions ? Edit: changing font and tile width does it, in window -> font menu Last edited by Estie; April 30, 2012 at 13:12. |

We totally need a variant called Spaghettiband. The final boss would be the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and one of the base weapon types would be antipasti (no, that doesn't make any sense.)
