Looking for player, Descent 1st Edition Campaign

Hello and welcome everyone,

i am looking for a player to play a fantasy strategy turn based game.

Descent into the dark 1st Edition Campaign is all about four heros stopping an evil overlord from taking over the land.

In contrast to Angband which is a single player game, this game requires 2 (up to 5 at maximum) players and thus has a bit more social interaction. It requires only a web browser and the dedication to post your turn once per day (1-2 hours).

Interested students / nerds / fantasy fans step forward!

Both sides are not equally in time consumption.

The hero player(s) have to think about their move, control Line of Sight and possible Overlord reactions and then post attacks which require some special dice roll actions. That can take up 1-2 hours, of course you can play it faster too ... that is the amount of time i usually spend for one hero turn.

The overlord has it a bit easier most of the times, draw cards, see if you want to play one, and then move the monsters already present in the dungeon, That is usually done quicker. If you have a lot of monsters with lot of attacks, that can be quite time demanding as well.

Overall a typicall game takes months to finish.

But then again: you can easily spend more than 2 hours/day playing Angband too!

Should you be interested fph, we can try some test rolls ... just create a BGG account and post your request in my thread, link see post 1. I mean, turns can be much quicker too, maybe sometimes only minutes.
