Heatmap and resources
How expensive is the heatmap used for pathing? Obviously, not to bad, but I'm interested in what happens if you use 2, 3 or 4 etc.

It'll be very expensive if you make one for PASS_WALL/KILL_WALL, when every single square needs to be included. (Maybe you can make one that only has computed values when adjacent to perma-wall. Maybe.)

Thanks. I was considering passwall so I can weigh rock differently to open space. Perhaps I can bubble it? Only compute 15 wall squares round the player? 30*30 or 900 squares?

I was thinking of one only on squares adjacent to PERMA_WALL. Otherwise go straight towards the player.
