Direction bug, please help.
Midway through a game of 3.3.0 the 4 diagonal directions stop working, and I require 2 direction keys to move once.
For example I press left and up and the character moves diagonally once. Apparently I've set some interface mode, and it moves with the save file, not the prf file. I started a new character, and he wasn't affected. Any idea what's happening? |

No, but here are some questions to narrow it down:
- are you using the roguelike keyset? - does toggling NumLock make any difference? - what OS are you using? - how do you start angband? (double-click? command line arguments?)

I tried turning roguelike keys on and off. - does toggling NumLock make any difference? I tried this as well. - what OS are you using? Windows 7. - how do you start angband? (double-click? command line arguments?) Double clicking the icon. I was confused right before it started happening. Is it possible the confusion screwed up the key mappings? |

I had this happen when playing the current competition. Apparently the savefile had movement delay set to 2. Setting it back to 0 fixed the problem. See the competition forum for comp 111 for the related thread -- I had never messed with movement delay and didn't know what it did.
