I've settled on Angband OS. Here is a quick overview of the configuration:

.NET 6 Game Library - Provides the game logic
Dependency Injection, Multi-threaded ASP.NET Core 6 Server - Hosts the games
Signal-R - Provides communication between web-client and browser front-end
SPA Angular Front-End - Uses 100% vertical height
Typescript - Angular front-end scripting
SCSS - For HTML styling
HTML5 Canvas - Used for rendering the screen

TBD
MySql - Persistent Storage
Entity Framework - Lamba expression Sql syntax

Current "angbandOS" is the generic main.xxx.c file, with versions for every OS, plus the z- and ui- files for common functionality. Binding it to a non-universal platform seems like a step backwards, despite the admittedly cool and useful capabilities of .NET

The .net core is windows, Linux, and Mac platform ready. HugoVirtuoso said he would test on Linux.
