Not sure what I should be looking for. Otherwise I see a character who needs to get back to town immediately for supplies--including ?recall--and who then needs to be deeper.

I assume the weird part is that you are wearing two pieces of equipment with unknown abilities - the shield, and.... not clear what the 2nd piece is. I assume it is the torch and there is some bug in the display.

Yes the cursed torch should not cause any ??? in the dump. There are many things wrong with the character knowledge menu; I mostly ignore it, so whats the point here ?

was even more ridiculous later on but i got carried away and forgot to dump. Rolled another 6 and another 7 for CL7 and CL8, had 56hp at CL8.

FYI a hobbit mage with that CON will start with 7.5hp
