Developement suggestions
I recently finished exams and with more free time, i decided that i could apply my C coding experience with angband developement. Any suggestions about important/known bugs that need to be fixed? The bugtracker seems outdated.
Also i would like to know what are the main developement/discussion areas for the 4.2.0 relase. Thank you in advance. |

There are certainly some old (and in some cases obsolete) bugs in the tracker, but it is also reasonably up to date with the latest. If you look at "View tickets" and "All open tickets for 4.2 and Triaging" you'll see the current bugs.
The main things happening for 4.2.0 are:
There are multiple ways you could approach this, so rather than suggesting I'll leave it completely to you. If you want to talk coding there is #angband-dev channel on irc.freenode.net (it's really quiet at the moment, but if someone starts talking people will sometimes arrive) and there are plenty of people here who know stuff. Have fun, and ask questions any time ![]()

The problem is that the android port is writtten in java.
I dont have any experience with java coding so i would only make things worse. |

Java is not that different from C/C++. You shouldn't let that scare you, especially since Java is a very useful language to know. It's used all over the place. And the best way to learn a new language is by working on a project that uses that language.
