Well, it's not like he has a set drop or anything, just that it is **GREAT** or something. Which depending on when you kill him might mean, just another piece of Too Much Junk .

That's kindof appropriate considering he always refers to himself as "we"

In retrospect, I think the last time I played seriously was not 3.0.6, but much earlier, because it was 2002, if I remember correctly. I just remember Smeagol dropping the hell out of the phial over a string of like 5 games. Maybe it's just a product of the phial's base depth or something, but it certainly seemed to happen quite a bit for me.

And I suppose it might be better for Smeagol to be called Gollum... even though Smeagol wasn't a saint by any means, heh.

I actually haven't encountered the One Ring yet, but I was under the impression that Sauron dropped it, like Grond or the Crown from Morgoth. Guess not.
