IIUC the Android port doesn't change savefiles at all, and any 4.2 savefile should be loadable by anything from 4.2.0 to the current nightly version.

Any chance of an NPP patch that cuts down on TELE_SELF_TO Maiar? NPP 0.5 currently has a hard limit on depth for characters that are not near endgame strength.

I'll see what I can do. Perhaps I'll replace NPP 0.4.1 with 7.1.0, keeping 0.5.4

Both versions will include the patch

New version is up.

This one includes FAangband 2.0 BETA !

I've also implemented floating buttons. These are keymaps that can be placed anywhere on the screen.

I do like 0.4,1, but bounced hard off 0.7. Just too much.

I did try fighting the first of those Maiar. I scratched it enough to take off 2 stars while using 2 healing potions. Then he healed, and i bailed fled.

New version. This one unifies opacity for input widgets and adds more ribbon bindings for FAangband.

Those new floating buttons are awesome! They really make certain actions so much more convenient.

Any chance you could avoid overwriting user.prf every time the app gets updated? If it's too much work, I'll keep changing it back like I'm doing, but it would be nice to have the customizations preserved.

The port will try to load android.prf, which will not be included in the bundle.
