What exactly does time do? I was breathed on twice, my mana is lower than it was
but other than that, I'm not sure what it did. Is it possible to restore my max mana
back to where it was?

currently playing Nialon II

It can reduce your stats, by a lot, even if you have sustains. Probably your int is down, and a potion of restore int will fix your problem.

It also drains EXP, so you could have lost a level or two and thus less mana that way too.

neither my exp or my stats were listed in yellow like you would see if they were reduced. I got the msg "the time vortex breathes on you, time flows backwards" or something like that. Is it possible that it changed my hp and mp back to a previous char level but didnt reduce my exp or level?

a few time it breathed on me, it reduced my wisdom but that was the only stat affected.

or could it be a bug since I am playing the dev version?

There must be some type of intrinsic resistance to time; with my mage sometimes I get breathed on with time and it just does damage and doesn't reduce anything.

The "time flows backwards" message is for XP reduction. That's a pretty nasty bug if it took your HP and SP back to last level's without actually draining XP.

i might have to hunt down a time vortex just to see if that is what really happened...
