Irashtar is on a distinguished road
[Z] 2.7.5 Pre I

Sheesh, couldn't the devteam have at least released 2.7.5 before climbing under the internet and dieing? At least ADOM has the excuse of only having one guy to (not) work on it. I tried installing the windows version of it from this site, but everything in the window except the cursor is black. what's wrong?

Strangely, that's the problem I was having with Unangband. heh. See the end of the why aren't you playing unangband thread.

Okay, works nicely, playing around with a trump Warrior-mage, now another display problem. none of the 'special colours' for visible things works properly. No yellow light around me, the floor is always dim, what's going on?

Did you make sure you set that in the options and dump it? It is normally defaulted off.

Hit =, e, and check the options f-i and make sure you're actually using a light source

view_yellow_lite, view_bright_lite, view_granite_lite, and view_special_lite are all on, and toggling them has nothing change. wearing a torch, and looking closely, the lit tiles are faintly brighter, and getting next to the stairs makes them yellow, but not the walls. if I turn off map remembers torch lit grids, some things seem to work, walls go dark and bright like they should when viewed, but even though % says the floor is the usual white ., remembered and viewed tiles are all the same. T_T
