Savefile is corrupted -- incorrect file header
What to do about this error? Is there a way of restoring my save or at least monster memory?

Monster memory is saved separately, so that should be fine. If you post a savefile here (zip it first to attach to the forum) I can try to fix it. Did anything odd happen before the problem?

Coincidentally, I got this error for the first time ever this past week, using 4.22.

I can't recover anything, I'm afraid - the savefile is all 0 bytes (while being the right sort of size for a regular savefile).
Can you give me any idea what the last thing that happened to this file before it failed to load was?
