[Un] Two more questions
First off, have tried playing Artisan a few times. The game lets me set traps with arrows, or launchers, (creating murder holes) but these always seem to automatically unset whenever a monster or myself wanders over them. There is never any damage. What's going on? Are these trap types currently nonfunctional? Is there some way to set them so that they work?
Second question: The wizard spell, wizard eye, summons a wizard eye, for a single round. What would the purpose of this spell be? The eye does not seem to attack. Does it provide some manner of detection or targeting benefit? |

I haven't played an Artisan yet so cannot comment.
The Wizard Eye is invisible. You will see it just once as you summon it then it will vanish, unless of course you can see invisible creatures. It is still there looking out for enemies to assault. Though saying that I can't actually remember the last one I summoned doing much!! Trying to remember how they attacked when I run into them as an enemy..... ranged magic attacks I guess?? |

As for the wizard eye: it used to cast spells when the wizard eye spell was a lot higher level. I'm amending this for the next release so that it automatically probes enemies in line of sight. I don't want it to attack directly, more be a inconspicious way of getting information about the environment while you are elsewhere in the dungeon. Andrew
