Need some pointers
I am a bit out of my element here, with a clvl 40 druid. I could use some advice for inventory, equipment, tactics, or anything else. This is my best character yet by quite a bit, and my strategy is clearly not going to cut it from here on.

3.3 blows with Haradeket sucks. Ditch the Ring of Flames for =Dex. Recommend using wands instead of rods for damage. Recharge is very reliable in v4.2. Lightning bolt is pretty worthless at your depth. Wands of Drain life should be your go-to device for damage by CL 40. Surely you have found some? (I usually keep Annihilation for M, as they are genuinely rare.)
You are keeping way too many weapons that are strictly inferior to Haradeket. Taratol is the only one possibly worth keeping. |

As Pete indicates, your melee is bad, and decent melee is very handy for druids. I'd swap the =Flames for the =DEX, which should improve things; also look out for any opportunity to switch in gear with pluses to STR and DEX.

I have not come across any wands of drain life. Checked my knowledge screen to verify. Not listed. Hopefully I'll come across one soon. The home inventory is mainly just a trophy collection. No real plan to go back to any of those weapons. Perhaps I'm not utilizing my home as well as I should.

Many years, but it has been several since I played much, or at all really.
