Competition 188 is up. It's a Quickband Maia Sage. Enjoy ironman never-gaining-levels

Come on! Very few entries so far. Not so difficult if you start by selling the staff as well as half your supplies. then minimal town scum to afford mb2 in black market. Then ok to go, or just a little more town scum for a few ?phase door.

Where's ewan? Still a day left, and it would be a shame to allow a rank amateur like myself to claim the victory in *gasp* over 400k turns! Ewan can do it in more like 60k, I know it! Maybe double that in Ironman, but still, way faster than me.

And I have to say, Quickband if a very diverting variant. Not like previous competitions which claimed 20-30+ hours of my life, a couple serious attempts at this one was maybe 10-12 hours.

Those are game turns. You won in 49K player turns. Winning in less than 30K is very rare indeed. There are a number of games in 1.x and 2.x with fewer turns, but those were significantly easier games.
