Weapon stats table?

Is there a weapon stats table? I'm playing Angband 4.2.3 after many, many years away from Roguelikes. IIRC there used to be help files that identified weapon statistics, like blows per round and average damage per round. I don't see those in the docs directory or the manual.

I know I can examine a weapon, but was curious if there is a table that lists all the weapons in the game with this info.

The knowledge menu ['~' command) lets you browse unenchanted weapons of all known types. Otherwise there is the 'l'ook (or e'x'amine) command, and inspecting stuff in inventory

You can press 'e' then 'a' to see your main weapon.

Alternatively, you can press shift 'c' to see all of your characters abilities, blows, resistances

Yes, I'm aware of those. My recollection may with the weapons table may go back to Moria, but I remember scouring that table when purchasing weapons to min/max my character's melee power.

I don’t think such a table’s ever been part of Angband’s documentation. (I don’t remember it in Moria, either, but that’s much more likely to be incorrect.)

Figuring out how many blows you get is a fairly complicated calculation, with four variables (class, str, dex, and weapon weight), and it’s by far the most important factor.

What we’ve got now in the weapon inspection screen is way better than anything I had at my disposal back then.

It must have been Moria. IIRC the table listed weight, price, damage, and speed, based upon character attributes.
