FAangband Quiver Inscribing

It seems my quiver item inscriptions are always disappearing or overriding(?) each other. How exactly do these things work? There seems to be some strange rules I'm just not grasping. For instance: Why is it that inscribing Narthanc (in quiver) with @A1 takes away my @v1 on my throwing spears, and vice-versa?

Also, it'd be nice if the 'throw' command defaulted to a quiver-stored throwable instead of my main equipped weapon. What with the inscription wonkiness mentioned above, I've ended up accidentally throwing my equipped melee weapon a few times. Not good.

You're right, this sucks. It's a hangover from when the quiver slots were numbered. Will fix.

Agreed. In fact, I'd say ideal behaviour would be to default to the first quiver-stored throwable, and if there isn't one to the inventory.
