I was looking through the game database on lichess after a game and saw an interesting move that occurred in 3 games. All players involved were rated over 1600.
1. e4 e5 2. Nc3 Nf6 3. f4 d5 4. fxe5 Nxe4 5. Qf3 Bc5 6. Nxe4 dxe4 7. Qxe4 Qh4+ Twice white played 8. g6 and black went on to win. Only once did white take the free queen. |
