I'm not sure what your question is. 3.1.0 beta isn't going to change, so from that point of view it is "stable". 3.1.1 isn't out yet, but the code in development has changed considerably from 3.1.0 beta. So from that point of view it isn't "stable".

I suppose it would also help if you knew how long it will be before there is a release of 3.1.1. I don't have the foggiest. Possibly nobody does

As always, it's a couple of weeks away... Maybe for real this time.

And I'd probably stave off porting the borg to the 3.1 series until a non-beta is released (probably 3.1.2, hopefully in Q4 this year).

??? How would that happen? 3.1.2 is the non-beta version which will appear when all the new features of 3.1.1 are playtested and balanced. Without going backwards from the current nearly-finished 3.1.1, how could you get a stable version out before 3.1.2?

Ok so Takkaria may have been a little tiny bit conservative with his Q4 estimate - but I'd guess Q3 at the earliest (which is only a few months away).
