Comp 180 is up. It's a PosChengband 3.5.0 mimic... with a couple of spooky surprises. Enjoy!

I wonder what surprises in particular. So far, with my two attempts at Compo 180, I didn't encounter anything nightmarishingly insane.

I think the spooky surprise is how to sort through all the goodies. It's broken my normal pickup settings.

As an added incentive to this competition, whoever has the dump with the spookiest mimicked form (has to be the active form in the upload) will win a special shoutout. I'll add it to the comp text after for posterity.

*spookiness is decided completely by debo's objective and nonpartisan judgment.

How the **** do you play this? The only thing that's missing is the Goodbye Charlie traps...

Easy to avoid Logrus Masters. Don't do the Logrus Master quest at a low lvl =)

Yeah, I don't know what that's about either

The spookiness in this comp was courtesy of two birth options that we don't use very often.

This isn't as bad as it 1st seems. Labyrinth, quests & wilderness are as normal for 1 thing. How I start:

do thieves quest (I just buy scroll of light, sling & a few !clw or !csw).

Sell quest reward. Buy staff of detect invisible, some !csw, lots of: ?teleports, ?detect monsters, a few ?detect traps, maybe a couple of ?magic mapping.

You can now enter the dungeons knowing you can detect everything & cure confusion so normal rules apply, i.e just don't fight anything that's going to kill you.
