What are your Angband 3.0.9 display settings?
What font do you use?
What tile mode? Ascii? Do you have any tips for a favored or optimal display setting? Are you able to upload your own fonts into Angband? I am sure you are, but I have never tried. If you are able to, is there any fonts that you would recommend? Please include a link to the font if so. If you can offer any other tips or tricks that your casual *band player might not ever think of, please post them here. Thank you! |

This is the setup I favour. The fonts are default, I think. But these days on a widescreen panel, I also use some side windows http://www.oook.cz/screenshots/nppangband.png

I use ASCII only, partly because I find it less confusing than various graphic tiles, partly because I can easily play Angband over SSH that way when needed. As a console font, I generally prefer Terminus---it is nice, clean and very readable.

It's 14 point Monaco. I can't stand the default windows font, nor the walls that aren't #'s. It looks ugly ![]() |
