Newly created character, didn't leave town yet and... Farmer Maggot drops Resistance and Scarabtarices when killed. This is gonna be an easy start...

That event probably would have led me to delete Angband in a fit of rage, since I've been playing no-selling paladins. The most amazing, utterly useless drop, that would've been... but congrats.

I don't think anything can trump that if it happens very early before you have any other speed items. Don't know if FA drops are comparable to vanilla though.

My best has been dagger (HA) (+something,~+15) (+4) dropped by BSVeteran when playing priest. +4 to WIS at near beginning of the game made rest of the game much easier.

I also swear I have seen BoS +12 in armorer at the beginning of the game at some version of the vanilla (could not buy it obviously). I think max PVAL for BoS now is +10.

V3.4, RoS+12 at 1900ft... clearly my best in ages at that depth!

RNG sorta taketh too... Next level has a nice GV (Funnel) with 6 stat pots + 2 pots of augmentation. Nothing too dangerous inside (the Learnean Hydra... but it could be teleported away easily). However before I can make my way inside the main chamber, a time vortex already crushed all the loot

It wasn't the time vortex. Only elementals and xorn/xaren have KILL_ITEM. Some uniques might have it also, like polyphemus. Are you sure something didn't pick it up, like a master rogue or a dread?

I thought it was the vortex... but yeah there was an Air Elemental inside too, so it must have been it instead.
