Bugs with 3.5

Hi

I am playing V 3.5, OS is W7 (64b), downloaded and installed from rephial 28.12.2013. I seem to have issues replicating bugs that were issued fixed on 3.5 release. 1st there is this issue with arrows in quiver identified "arrows of foo on ground". Now I found my 1st randart on game:

     Provides resistance to cold, light, disenchantment.
     Cannot be harmed by acid, electricity, fire, cold.

     Takes 25 to 27 turns to recharge.
     Your chance of success is 88.6%
So, no breath activation, which counters 3.5's release note on forums.

I'm not sure that constitutes as bug because it does have activation. Just not breath.

Yeah, there are standart DSMs that have non-breath activations. Bladeturner, for example, activates for heroism + berserk if I recall correctly.

A few times now when I've cast Detect Monsters on my Mage, it has shown the monsters on the map, but not on the Monster List. After re-casting the spell, it then all showed up in the Monster List, but that first turn it claimed I couldn't see any monsters.

Hm, could be a screen refresh issue, maybe? What happens if you hit ^R?

Sadly I didn't stop playing, or make another save file when it happened last. It's quite intermittent, and has only happened to me twice in 3 or 4 hours of play time (likely several hundred casts of detect monsters).

If I spot it again, I'll be sure to make note of that.

There is an outstanding bug in which monsters are not displayed properly on the monster list when you first descend into the level. I'm not sure what's causing it. I don't think a screen refresh clears it though. I have not seen a problem with detection yet, but I wasn't looking too closely.

It's possible that the 2 issues could possibly be related, as now that you mention it, I think there's a strong possibility that when I saw this happen, it was on the very first turn upon entering a new level although I can't say that for sure.

I should be able to do some play testing this weekend.

I think I may have encountered this bug as well with the comp character. Descend stairs, cast detect evil, and the message log states I detect something but nothing showed up in the term window.

I just encountered a bug that seems related (3.5 release, win7 64). I teleported across the level and immediately cast Reveal Monsters. I sensed no monsters and no invisible monsters, but the Mature White Dragon I was escaping from is still allegedly 1S 1W of me. I'm now in an east-west corridor, so it's cunningly disguised itself as a wall. Either that or it's looking at the monster list from before the 2 actions I just took. Maybe it's because stairs and teleport aren't counted as moves?
