Ouch
Level 28 HT paladin was doing just fine, already found several artifacts, dungeon book etc... Then, 9-4 feeling on DL28.
Cautiously exploring, trying to remember to cast detect evil often enough... suddenly: Something mumbles loudly. You are hit by something! You die. WUT? Tombstone: Killed on Level 28 by The Mouth of Sauron (offscreen) Did he accidentally press 28 instead of 82 in Angband elevator?? |

Ouch indeed!
9-4 feeling means: leave the level immediately. There is something very dangerous but no loot to match. |

Wow that's unlucky! I've seem big fat wyrms that early but never anything as dangerous as that.
I'd definitely get the heck out of there if I knew it was him. But 9 feeling is often just another bug hunt so I'd probably have a decent chance at get swatted as well. |
