That's odd you'd think the game would value that higher. Maybe because it's a sling? Nice find though! Will make mincemeat of the early uniques.

That is equivalent to a longbow of Power +12 or so. +2 shots gives 1.2 shots per turn.

It's more that slings of buckland feel so rare.
I almost never get them until it's so deep I have a better artifact shooter

This one isn't that good, but I had no shooter prior so it feels like a much greater find.

Just got 1-4 feeling on DL6 and found cloak of Aman with +2 stealth and chaos resistance. 1-4 felt bit low for that too, though chaos resistance is not needed much this early.

Slings in TomeNET variant got ricochet mechanics:

Adds chance for your shots to ricochet, even multiple times, hitting multiple enemies.

It's pretty good idea; maybe it should appear in V one day to make slings a bit more interesting?
