Z240 Monks
I love playing Z240. I mostly play Vampire Mindcrafters. I am branching into the Monk class next. But I have a huge concern over resists. How does a monk cover his resists when he can't wear armor? It seems way too dangerous to run around with gaps in the resistances.
So what do you guys do? |

I've never played a monk class. I've only played Mages and Chaos-Warriors. And the current Char a CW is the most advanced and deepest that I've ever manged to get, had a little look at level 100 - the Serpent is horrific. He came stright for me and killed me in like two moves...didn't even have time to do anything. Begining to think that Oberon was a fluke!

They have Draconians in 240? I used those in Zangband as Monks because they get the first 5 resistances (elements + poison) innately as they level up. Then equipment only has to cover the high resists. You can carry rings for the situational stuff like Sound, Light, etc.
