FAAngband - selection mode key to advance is left-arrow?

Hi.
In the process of translating the game FAAngband, I was born with a doubt about usability. In this part of a New Game, one can select the Game Mode, but to move to the next screen, you can just press Left-Arrow or on the 4-key of the numeric keypad. It does not work Enter key (which is to select a mode) or Right-arrow (which would be normal) or Key 6 of the numeric keypad, to indicate to the user that it can advance. There is also no clear legend on the screen of which key to follow the breed selection.

Why back-arrow and not right-arrow (or Enter), to indicate progress next section?
