Fear & AC-bonus
So I just noticed that when my @ is afraid, she gets a +8 bonus to her AC. Is this paladin-specific? Or a new feature? I have never noticed before...

Been there for a while, I'm guessing it's because since you're so scared you act more careful.
In any case, it works on everyone. I'm not sure you get it with rings of escaping or mushrooms of terror. |

Yes, fear from Rings of Escaping gives the armor bonus (I just tested it), unless that has been explicitly changed; I'm a few versions behind.
