Android help needed
I'd like to upload my android dump to the ladder, which means saving to a public directory like Downloads. But I don't know what the absolute path for this directory is. There *is* an official absolute path to /sdcard/Download and to which I successfully saved a character dump.
Unfortunately, this turns out to be a different directory to the one exposed in web browsers. (I tried both edge and chrome.) Help! |

Does it need to be on the device itself, rather than the extended memory card? So /device storage/Download instead of /sdcard/Download?
edit: (I haven't tried it or anything, I'm just looking at the folders on my phone) |

Apparently /sdcard is the official public directory, whether or not you have a card installed. (I don't, currently.)
Surely there is documentation for this somewhere, but it is hidden amongst all the other junk about using directories. Rather embarrassing problem. And no, /device storage/Dowloads doesnt work. (Save fails.) |

You may not be able to save there, but can you move the file there after saving it?

The mystery deepens. I can see the file with a 'root browser' app, along with all the downloads I did via the browser:
/sdcard/Download/Thoros.txt So this is the correct location. However, the file does not show up as an selection when I try to upload it to the ladder (but all the other files do.) Could it be a permissions problem in the saved file? |

Have you tried using Android File Transfer to copy the file from your phone to a computer? That might work better than uploading from Chrome on Android.
