Can't save via ctrl-s in curses mode
Title basically says it. I've installed the default package for Ubuntu Hardy LTS... In curses mode I can use ctrl-x to save and exit, but not ctrl-s to just save. Also, the colors are annoyingly different in curses mode. How can I make curses playable? (And make the colors the same as for XAW?)

Have you tried ^s to save? Ctr-s is sometimes eaten by the TTY as a 'stop' or pause signal.
