Newbie question - installation help
I'm having trouble with my installation, and I'm afraid I'm terrible with computers. Can someone help?
I installed Angband, but every time I try to open it I get the following error message: Danger Will Robinson! Cannot create '/Volumes/Angband-v3.4.1-dirty 2/Angband.app/Contents/Resources/lib/info' I'm using Mac OS X. Anyone know what's wrong? Thanks so much, and sorry if this is a stupid question. :P |

It sounds like you're trying to run it directly from the disk image you downloaded. You should copy the program to a location on your hard drive (e.g. the Applications folder) and then try again.

That reminds me...we (I) should get all the references to "dirty" out of the OS X releases.
