Roguelike Conference

I'd guess anyone who'd want to go to this probably already knows about it, but just in case, I just saw on another forum that there's a 1-day roguelike conference in San Francisco in September, with some of the original developers of Rogue, the Brogue guy, Dwarf Fortress guys, DCSS, CoQ, etc...

I feel like everyone should add their various forum names to their nametags.

e: seems like they are sold out, but it looks like there will be a stream.

Just listened to the twitch stream- nice job guys! A lot to summarize in a short time. Between this and the Roguelike Radio interview from a few years ago I think it gives a good picture of how the game is changing and why.

Makes me want to say a big Thank You again for all the work you and other devs have done over the last 10 years!

I can't watch the afternoon talks, so hopefully these are being recorded for posterity?

Have just watched the talk on replay on twitch; this is the whole session, the Angband talk starts at 1:50:00 (thanks debo for finding it for me).

It is a really great summary of the trends in Angband over the last ten years from the devteam's point of view. Excellent job by myshkin and d_m to (a) actually get organised to be there and (b) give such an interesting and faithful account. Loved the reference to this thread.
