What's the most annoying thing in Angband (without dying)?

For me it would have to be methodically clearing a vault and just getting ready to examine the "superb treasures" before falling through a trap door or getting teleported to another level by a hidden Q

Townspeople were annoying me, too. Then I made the BG get SP when he kills them.

I get unfairly annoyed when my home is full and my inventory is full at the same time

I also agree about townspeople. Solved that problem by turning off Word of Recall.

Also, starting with a Word of Recall scroll when Recall is turned off. I could start with just gold, but theres no guarantee the store will stock a dagger, a precious, precious dagger, and Id rather be saddled with a useless scroll than a bad weappn.

Also, how long the breath animation takes, especially when fighting Hounds.

Getting your mind blanked and having to re-identify all your equipment. I'm so glad all the features involved are no longer in the game.

Maybe reduce your base delay factor?

Wasn't there a version where scrambled stats after Nexus attacks didn't revert to normal?

Yes, there was. I think before 4.1
Actually I did like that. It forced me to solve problems differently when running around with a rouge having str and wis swapped and it was quite memorable for me.
