OK, new builds up with the following fixes:
  • Band of & Band~ description finally fixed
  • Morgoth's crown now +50 to all stats instead of +125
  • Hypothetical blows for increased STR and DEX are included in weapon descriptions again (I think correctly - let me know if any issues arise)
I believe the only remaining issues are shop pricing, and luneya's bug with cursed wearables not IDing while they still have unknown curses.

Not sure whether you intended to also reduce the Infravision bonus down to 50 from 125. Unlike Stats, I can see an argument for leaving the infravision bonus at the higher number, given Morgoth's uncanny ability to "see" across the entire dungeon level.

A funky unintended consequence, the fix introduced a new bug. When @ used a !Enlightenment, the Object List contained a "Dagger (1d4) {tried}". Obviously not "tried", since @ hadn't been on that side of the dungeon to even see it, let alone wield it. Turned out to be Nimthanc.

EDIT: Additional information on the bug's behavior -- leaking information on all artifacts. E.g., after !Enlightenment, all artifact weapons and armor appear at the top of the list in Red.

It was general - and also introduced new problems, by the looks.

Isn't infra limited to vision range anyway? In this case, anything past +20 is meaningless...

as soon as i try to look at my starting dagger, i get a crash.
tried with two different class/race combinations, standart and randart, both crash immediately.

Inspecting any weapon or digger crashes the game. I don't see anything wrong in the code, except maybe using an uninitialized state in obj_known_digging() when calling calc_bonuses().
