YACD - first 3.5.0, any re-balancing in this version or just very lucky?

My first 3.5.0 character, so far---I'm wondering if drops have been re-balanced a bit in this version, or has my character just been really lucky this time? Max depth DL38 and he already has all the resistances covered including poison, ESP, and permanent +17 speed? (+20 once I re-arrange things to wear different armor and keep the poison covered...)

Sounds really lucky to me. I've been playing some 3.5 and I haven't had any characters anywhere remotely near that powerful by that level/depth.

It does look like the turn count in the character dump is a little bugged though...

Why do you think it's bugged.

Yes there was significant rebalancing, but that kind of luck is not normal.

Seems pretty lucky. So far my two 3.5.0 chars have only found +2 (not counting trade-off rings like RoEscapes) speed on items by dlev 34. I have all higher resistances covered except sound individually but not simultaneously (poison because I'm a kobold) due to black market disenchantment item, and chaos due to just dropped Elvenkind armour. I have some pretty nice stuff but it takes a lot of juggling to adjust for the situation, that's probably fairly normal for a stealth-focused rogue, I've been able to loot vaults with several severely OOD uniques and nice items.

I think you were rather lucky but loooking at the dump it seems you played quite careful and slow. Things like speed rings don't get generated very often at the depts you have been playing so far, but if you spend enough time there, eventually you are bound to find them. If you are patient enough, eventually you will get lucky

In the player history at the bottom, it shows 128899 for all entries except at the end. Or am I misunderstanding what this means?

Yes, that is bug in 3.5.0 (all ladder entries for 3.5.0 that I see show this). Looks like 3.4.1 didn't have that bug, so that's a new one, not old that never got fixed before release.

BTW, some of the entries are for "angband 3.5.0 Character Dump" and some "angband v3.5.0 Character Dump"

I see, it looks like it only stores the points correctly for the current session, but all previous entries get rewritten with the starting turn for this session. That's a bummer, I'll file a bug.
