Learning python...
...what is the GUI model in most widespread use? There are several and apparently none are really standard. Tkinter? Wx? Something else? (I mostly think Tk is sub-par, but maybe it's improved since the last time I used it.)

Cross-platform GUIs are unfortunately always something of a mess. I believe the most popular these days is Qt. I've used Wx and it works, but its layout systems aren't great.
What's your plan? Just learning the language for the sake of learning the language, or do you have a project in mind? Either way, good luck! |
