Speed vs. Immunity
I havn't played Angband since the mid-ninties, but started again when 3.3 was released. This version is truly enjoyable to play, great thanks to all developers. Ok, the mid-game may be a little too easy, but I can live with that.
Anyway, I have a question about the importance of immunity. My current character has found Eönwë and Ringil as well as Stormwalker and BoS +10: http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=11886 I do use Eönwë since it protects potions and switched to Stormwalker when I found them (very recently), but how important is immunity and especially lightning immunity? I have lost a few rods of teleport other, but it doesnt seem to happen often. Is the extra speed better? |
