I can take a crack at it; although, the thought of that character winning gave me a chuckle instead of disappointment.

I give up. I had several good runs, a particularly promising one (Shortsword of Galadriel + Parry) ended due to the combination of disconnected stairs + chasms + expensive leaping (after other evasion abilities) forcing me down a bit too fast. Fun competition, surprised there are no Morgoth kills, we used to have them in Edain competitions.

I think Morgoth is much harder to kill for pure-melee characters in Original Sil 1.2.1.

I doubt my guy's going to be able to kill Morgoth short of finding a massive stack of staves of earthquakes. On the positive side I just grabbed artifice & am on a level of smithing heaven. 2x 3 use forges, 1x enchanted forge (only 2 use) & Orodruth. I managed 2 artifacts & have probably sprinted 1000 laps of the level trying hard not to die....

Edit: I'm out now too....

Yeah was a fun run, but a flawed plan for the throne room. Damn it, Morgoth is earthquake immune! I hit him a couple of times at over 40 will & it stuns him but doesn't scratch him or knock off the crown.
